Captured Wilderness

Fine Art Nature & Wildlife Photography & Wall Art

New: Workshops/Classes

Starting in 2022, I will be offering nature & wildlife photography workshops/classes on a “one-to-one” basis and for small groups.  For now, classes/workshops will mostly be held locally in Southeast Michigan (other locations are available by special arrangement) but I may extend out to other areas if these are successful.

Rates are subject to group size and location – specially arranged locations will cost more depending on how far I have to travel.

If you are a novice photographer interested in learning how to create better wildlife and nature images and/or learn how to get more out of your DSLR camera, then these classes/workshops are for you. So, to learn how to take photographs like the ones below, fill out the form and register to participate in one of my workshops today.

Workshops available:

Bird/Wildlife Photography

Nature/Landscape Photography

Macro (insect/flower/plant) Photography

Night Sky (astrophotography) Photography

Read This BEFORE Booking…

Please read this section carefully before you proceed to booking a place on one of my photography workshops. I use Square™ in order to process my appointments and, due to limitations in their service, I cannot set the location for workshops as I would like to.
Square™ only allows me to list my actual business address (which in this case is my home office) and, since I don’t want you turning up at my home, you will need to follow the process as outlined below in order to correctly book your place.

Step 1:
After clicking on the button to “Join A Workshop” you will be presented with a selection of workshops from which to choose.
Select the workshop of your choice then click on the “CONTINUE” button.
NOTE: You will need to select the “1-to-1 – Individual” workshop if you wish to be the only participant, or the “Group” workshop if you wish to book for a small group (each individual in the group will need to book also but under the same group workshop as you – it would be better if you enter the booking for each person in your group).
YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED ANYTHING FOR BOOKING – YOU WILL NOT BE ASKED FOR YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS. PAYMENT IS MADE IN PERSON ON THE DAY OF YOUR WORKSHOP.

Step 2:
After pressing the “CONTINUE” button in the previous step, you will be asked to select a location. DO NOT select my address – this is the address of my home office… you will not be attending a workshop there.
My home office address is listed due to limitations in how Square™ sets up locations for appointments. Instead you will need to select the option that says “We’ll Come To You“. You will be entering your workshop location selection later in the process.

Step 3:
You’ll next select your preferred date and time for attending your workshop. If you wish to join an existing workshop as an additional student, check the “Workshop Schedule” by clicking on the sub-menu item that appears beneath “Workshops/Classes” at the top of this page.

Step 4:
You will next be asked for your info: Enter your cellular number and email address (so I can get in touch with you regarding your booking if necessary), and your first, and last name.
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT enter YOUR address in the section that asks for your address… just as I do not want you turning up at my home, I am sure you do not want me providing a workshop at yours either. Instead, using the location addresses below, enter the appropriate address for the location at which you would prefer to attend your workshop.

Step 5:
Click on “Book Appointment“… that’s it! You’re all done… Now you just need to turn up on the day. Please review the suggested kit list for the workshop that you wish to attend by clicking on this link. Or, you can email me for details of what you should bring.
You will be required to pay for your workshop on the day at the start of the course.
